Mountain View, CA – August 2, 2006Expertus, a global provider of services that optimize the business impact of learning, and TrainingOutsourcing.com, a company that offers guidance and consulting to buyers and sellers of outsourcing services, jointly announced today the launch of a six-part survey series designed to obtain market data on all aspects of today’s corporate training challenges.

Over the next six months, the Training Challenges Survey Series will collect input on the following topics: channel partner training; use of consolidated LMSs for internal and external training; training analytics; LMS implementation, integration, and maintenance; global training; and training administration. The first survey, focused on channel partner training, will be sent out on August 3.

All survey respondents will receive an analysis of each survey, as well as a final report produced at the end of the series.

“One of the fundamentals in successful outsourcing is to align services directly with customer needs. Too often, outsourcers try to standardize offerings for their own efficiencies without taking customer needs and issues into full consideration,” said Ramesh Ramani, CEO of Expertus. “We hope that the information we collect and share will help educate the market and foster further discussion on today’s major training challenges.”

“This survey series will collect up-to-the-minute market data on a wide range of training functions. The results will be helpful to everyone in the training profession,” said Doug Harward, CEO of TrainingOutsourcing.com. “This survey series is just one of the ways we can keep our fingers on the pulse of the market.”

Surveys will be sent to approximately 15,000 training executives and professionals over the next six months. Those interested in participating can go to http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=802392632836 to complete the first survey.
